Privacy Policy

How Torque Edge handles information associated with its public website and contact requests, and how to ask about your privacy choices.

Effective: October 16, 2026

Scope and contact

This policy covers the public website at torque-edge.com, including www.torque-edge.com, and information associated with requests initiated through the website. Torque Edge is also presented on the website as Torque Edge Diagnostics, in Fontana, California. Service-specific notices may provide additional information. For privacy questions or requests, email sales@torque-edge.com or call (800) 697-7626.

Information you provide

When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to submit: your name, phone number, email address, company, message, and details needed to understand your request. Depending on the service, this may include vehicle make and model, VIN, mileage, engine information, symptoms, diagnostic reports, and photographs or documents you send.

We may also receive a service address, city, or roadside instructions that you provide. Describing this information does not mean the website automatically obtains your precise location. Please send only information relevant to your request and avoid including passwords or payment-card details in a general contact form.

Technical information, cookies and measurement

Website requests can include technical information such as an IP address, browser and device characteristics, requested pages, referring pages, and the time of a visit. Hosting and website tools may use these details to deliver content, diagnose problems, and protect the site.

The website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and interactions. Some pages may also use Google Ads or related advertising measurement, depending on their configuration. These tools can use cookies or similar identifiers. Their behavior depends on the page, device, browser, provider settings, and the choices available to you.

The website also uses browser storage for language preferences and the frequency of request windows, and a short-lived cookie in some form-confirmation flows. Clearing cookies and local or session storage can reset these preferences or confirmations.

Do Not Track and browser controls

The public pages do not use browser Do Not Track signals as a switch to stop loading their measurement tools. Third-party providers may apply their own settings and controls. You can manage cookies and other storage through your browser and use the providers’ available privacy controls. Third parties may collect information about your activity over time and across other websites under their own policies.

YouTube, maps and other external services

Pages may include YouTube videos, Google Maps, or links that open another provider's service. When embedded content loads or you use those features, your browser may communicate directly with that provider, which can receive technical and interaction information. Provider policies also apply. Google explains its partner-site technologies and available controls at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

How information is used

We use information to respond to inquiries, assess and coordinate requested services, communicate about arrangements, provide support, maintain business records, and address security or misuse. Website measurement helps us understand visits and evaluate advertising and content.

Marketing communications, if any, are subject to applicable permission and consent requirements. Sending a service inquiry does not by itself mean you agree to every kind of advertising message. You may contact us about your communication preferences. Service-related replies and legally required communications may still be necessary.

Providers and other disclosures

Information may be processed by providers that support hosting, email, communications, website measurement, or other functions needed to handle a request. External analytics, advertising, video, and map providers may also process information under their own policies. We may disclose relevant information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect people, services, and legal rights.

Retention and protection

Retention depends on the information and purpose: responding to a request, providing or documenting a service, maintaining necessary business records, meeting legal obligations, and resolving disputes. Provider systems, logs, and backups may follow different retention cycles. Contact us about a particular record. We use reasonable precautions appropriate to the information; no website, transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

Use an unsubscribe option where offered or contact us to request that marketing stop. Browser and provider controls can limit some cookies, analytics, and advertising features, although they may not block every technology or remove information already collected.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, a copy, correction, deletion, or choices about certain uses or disclosures. Email sales@torque-edge.com or call (800) 697-7626 and describe your request. For access, correction, or deletion, we may need information to confirm your identity or authority. Legal exceptions can affect what may be removed or disclosed.

SMS authorization and mobile information

When you separately choose SMS, Torque Edge records the mobile number, optional name, the service-message category you selected, language, date and time, the form source, a receipt identifier, and the exact disclosure and policy versions associated with that submission. This evidence is used to document and manage your request and any later withdrawal. Providing a phone number for an inquiry does not by itself authorize SMS.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in information or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent records are not added to advertising audiences or third-party lead lists. Providers needed to securely store the authorization or deliver and manage messages may process information only for those purposes, subject to applicable obligations.

Your SMS choice is optional and is not a condition of purchasing products or services. The service-message option covers appointment reminders, service updates, and responses to your requests; it does not authorize promotional texts. Leaving the box empty does not create a new SMS authorization or automatically cancel an earlier authorization. To withdraw, reply STOP to a message you receive or contact us; reply HELP for assistance.

An online submission does not verify ownership of the number. We may need to confirm that you control it before messaging. To see the message types, frequency, possible carrier charges and assistance options, read https://torque-edge.com/terms-of-service/#sms. The authorization form is at https://torque-edge.com/sms-consent/.

Children, updates and service-specific information

The website is intended for adult business and service inquiries, not children. Contact us if you believe a child submitted personal information. We publish revisions on this page with a new effective date and provide additional notice of material changes when required by applicable law.
